I'm wondering if it is possible to bring two separate CAD files into the same project? also, if it is possible to orbit around a selected object in a large scene?

I have managed to get my data in now, thanks.

Yes, I was meaning when an object is selcted that becomes the focal point alowing the user to orbit around the said object freely, Im sort of  getting used to the capture way of things now! :)

Is there any reason why the luminaires, that I have placed in paper view, do not show up in CAD View? I positioned them in paper view as there was no way seeing the orientation of the luminaire that I inserted  in CAD view?? the luminaire was a 'High End Data Flasher'

also is there anyway that I can simply turn a layer off?

Hi Ray,

In Paper mode you're not actually moving any objects, only symbols. So, when you move a fixture in Paper mode, you're simply adjusting the position of the symbol. The actual fixture will stay where it was inserted! (There's a function called "Reset transformation" that allows you to reset any such adjustments made in paper mode)
