Hello all!
For all those who use an nvidia graphics engine there is a nice tool from their website which is a system monitor.

Basically it allows you to monitor your system for those who have a little more experience but also it is the best way to search for updates and even schedule automatic updates and notification when one is available.
No matter what you choose from the options menu, in order to check for new version all you have to do is doubleclick on your desktop on the "system update" icon.
Finally i would suggest that you always make a clean install when installing new drivers and not choosing the express installation. It takes almost the same time and again you don't lose the settings nor you need to reboot.
