Forms vanish!

I'm running version 2.4.12

When adding a triangle from 'FORMS' its set size is 2m x 2m x 2m. However when I change the size to 10m the triangle on one size it vanishes from the screen. It is no where to be seen. Even if I zoom in and out!

But if I change the size metre by metre its fine. Not sure why but as a work around its fine.

Also is Capture happy to run on Snow Leopard?

Hi Jon,

I'm afraid this is a bug / known limitation of the triangle shape. The underlying problem is that you cannot create a triangle with the dimensions 2 x 2 x 10 meters, because it's mathematically impossible. For any side of the triangle, the sum of the two other sides lengths must be at least as large, so 5 x 5 x 10 works (5 + 5 = 10), but 4 x 4 x 10 doesn't (4 + 4 = 8 < 10).

Hi Lars, Yes that all makes sense. I re read my post and I missed the main issue. When editing the size because I can't edit all sides at the same time it caused the form to disappear but it then didn't allow me to select the form to continue editing it. I think thats the best way to describe it. Also, can you confirm that Capture will run on Snow Leopard?

Hi Jon,

Yes, that's a problem. Fortunately, you can continue editing the sides of a triangle and it will "appear" again as soon as you have some valid figures.

I can conform that it will run fine on Snow Lepoard!
