Hi Folks,

I've just finished a design in Polar and tested it with a showfile using Hog2PC (offline editor) and all runs fine except I have no Colour control of any scrollers or moving lights.
I know the showfile is good as it is from a real show running on-board a cruise ship on a Hog500, I'm trying to use it offline to simulate the lighting for modification with Capture as my visulisation software.

I have had to set Polar to 2005 Graphics settings as even after updating my drivers for the NVIDIA 7800 card in my laptop it will not run in Polar settings (I don't have enough video ram - only 128Mb installed, not sure if I can update the ram or not - still to investigate).

Pan/Tilt and Gobos all work in Polar with the Graphics set to 2005 settings but not the Colour. Is this due to not having enough video ram?

I have loaded the Capture show file into Capture 2005 and all works fine with total Colour control of all scrollers and moving lights.

I really like Capture and it would be a pitty if I can't use Polar (even with 2005 settings) and its features without having to change laptops (slightly expensive option).

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Hi Alex,

You are now our third user to report this problem. Apparently, colour wheel simulation does not work under 2005 graphics in Capture Polar. We'll have a look at it ASAP to see if we can resolve the issue!
