Problems with Polar.

Hello, i give you the messages i have with my computer.
It's a pc with windows xp sp3 system, 2.6 ghz, 768 mo RAM :

When i install it there is no problem, but when i start it:

some window appear:

" capture has not been properly instaled, please (re)instal it"

after: " could not initialize logging, no session log file will be created "

after: " failed to migrate license informationfrom earlier version of capture. you must run capture as an administrator to complete this task."

after: " your hardware and driver configuration is not graphic capture polar capable! see about for more details"

In the "about" window there is 6 parameters that failed. And i can't open the library, so i can't use it for the moment.
So the important question is:
what is the minimum configuration capable for POLAR ?

I get all the same errors (but not the last one) with the LightFactory console edition.

I'm assuming my graphics card is not up to the task (nothing fails in the about box), because it freezes on opening a file and the program stops responding.

I chaged "Use Polar graphics" to "No" in the options, but it makes no difference.

Your help would be appreciated. I will have to roll back to 2005 in the mean time.

I also have had the first three of your error windows with Polar Bluelite Edition, both on a Vista machine and an XP pro machine. Polar then does start, but it is in 'demo' mode and I cannot save anything.

Hope there is a patch soon because in "demo" mode my projects look real nice!

In your case, I recommend trying a graphics card driver update!
