I purchased Capture last night at 10.30pm, UK time. I expected an instant download of the Keyfile, to unlock capture.
I knew reading the site that I would have to email Capture some infomation to unlock the software, but I still havnt even got the Keyfile.
How long is normal to wait? Ive emailed shock solutions and Capture, but I guess because its christmas eve, there having a few days off work (lucky for some).

I wouldn't worry. When you place your order, Shock will send your details to the guys at Capture. They will then generate a keyfile for you and send it back to Shock, who will in turn forward it to you. After you input the file into Capture, this will generate another code which you need to send to the Capture guys, who will send you back an unlock code direct. Put that in, and you're up and running.
If I remember correctly, these requests are all dealt with manually at each stage - I guess that allows us to have the generous usage liscence and means they can focus on the product by not having to write software to limit or process installations automatically.
I'd say normally you'd be looking at 2-3 days turnaround, but obviously you can expect it to take longer over Christmas and New Year.

Thanks Rob for letting me know.
Its a bit of a joke that It takes so much effort to activate the software. I guess its because if memory recalls there was a crack for version 3 floating around.
But capture have my money, I now want the product. The reason I posted to start with is I read:
"We will then (manually, because of our generous licensing policy) process your request within one day at most."
I assumed that It would be a day at the most. I know I couldnt have purchased it at a worse time.
However, Im only in my venue for a few more days and really need to get building a 3D version for an upcoming show, which is why I purchase Capture.
Fingures crossed I should get somewhere today.
