GrandMA with Capture?

GrandMA with Capture?

Hi,

Im off for GrandMA training on wednesday and Im wondering if its possible to hook up the OLE to Capture 2005.

I know that GrandMA have there own 3D visualizer, but I know how to use Capture and prefer it to anything else on the market.

If there an easy way to link the two?

I have been told several times that this should work, although I never got it to work myself (probably because I know very little about the MA).

Dear Michael,

Although it has been some time since your ma seminars, the easy way to connect the two is with artnet, if you havent done that already. You simply have to set your network card on your pc with an ip of the 2.x.x.x subnet which is the one that ma uses to broadcast artnet.

Now in case you also use the ma network, which has to be on another subnet set by the ip that you give to your station, configure your network card with multiple ips.

We will contact ma for further connectivity and talkback features of the ma range with capture.
