Hi Viktor,

I'm sorry but there isn't really a fix release date. We're working heavily on the graphics now, improving performance quite dramatically and fixing stuff like this. I would expect it to take maybe a couple of months more!

Hi Lars,

This is good news. Dramatic improvement sounds wonderful. It´s all worth waiting for. What level of photorealism are we to expect after this big graphics-thing-change? Any examples?

Good job on Smartsoft btw. Looks like it can really expand the usefulness of the Smartfade ML. Too bad  I don´t have the console yet though.

To be honest, we're still experimenting with some things when it comes to photorealism. I'll make sure to post some screenshots soon ..

Hey When do you plan on showing some screenshots? Im really interested in seeing how Capture will change in the transition to DirectX. Apart from Driver support, is there any other reasons for DirectX? Is the next version of Capture DirectX 9 or 10? Because I use XP for development and cant upgrade to Vista (DirectX 10 wont run on XP) Cheers Mic

Hi Michael,

The next version of Capture is going to be OpenGL 2.0 since we ditched the DirectX path for several reasons.

While DirectX 10 has some nice features, it's total incompatibility with pre Vista is not manageable. Not to mention it's total incompatibility with anything but Microsoft.

As for the screenshots.. I don't think there will be until the release. =)
