Hi Andrew,

Capture accepts the file formats OBJ, DWG, DXF and 3DS, so you would need to export to one of these formats first. Then open the file using Open or Extract. On Windows you will need to change the file type settings in the File dialog.

Either way though, when saving your project, any imported objects will be stripped out since importing is a feature in our Extended Edition only, which means you cannot draft fixtures in Vectorworks for use in the Student Edition.
