On tone mapping, exposure and aperture brightness

One of the rendering advancements we made in Capture Nexum was the adaptation of and rendering in ACES AP1, also known as ACEScg. Rendering in ACEScg comes with a couple of major advantages over traditional sRGB rendering as it has a larger colour gamut than sRGB and comes with an HDR tone mapper.

About our environment

It was with great discontent that we learned about the United States' decision to leave the Paris Agreement yesterday.

Therefore we have begun researching how we could add an Environmental Protection Surcharge to orders from similar nations in an effort to route funds to environmental organizations.

Capture Nexum released

Today we are happy to announce that we have released Capture Nexum! Version 23 of our software Capture also marks our 23rd year in business and we are very pleased with the feedback we have received so far in social media and when previewing Capture Nexum at the ProLight+Sound show.
