Capture is a lighting design and documentation software available for Windows and Mac OS X. Capture allows you to work in real-time with all elements of your design, providing a streamlined environment for your creativity.
Capture Polar Basic Edition
The Basic Edition is our starter package which provides a basic toolset sufficient for most designs. The Basic Edition allows you to:
- Create lighting designs in real-time.
- Simulate a lighting rig with a consoles in real-time.
- Create lists and reports based on your design.
- Create plots of your design.
Capture Polar Extended Edition
The Extended Edition adds the following features beside what is available in the Basic Edition:
- Import of DWG and DXF files. Import of 3DS and OBJ files with materials.
- Export of DWG and DXF files.
- Use video from files as well as CITP/MSEX compatible media servers.
- Create presentations of your design for sales or
preprogramming.
- Control object and camera positions using DMX during preprogramming.
Capture Polar SmartSoft Edition
The SmartSoft Edition is based on our Basic Edition. The only difference and limitation is that you cannot connect to and visualize with any other external controllers than the ETC SmartSoft software!
